The Horsemanship Program

Phantom Ranch’s horsemanship program has been growing since 1976. We teach the fundamentals of horse care and riding. Our horse program features summer horsemanship camps, trail rides, riding lessons, Girl Scout Clinics, community horsemanship clinics and Equine Trail Sports Competitions. Every year we add to and improve our programs, horses, and wrangler training in order to fulfill our camp and horsemanship mission.

Our mission is to help our guests and our community have a better understanding and appreciation of horses and how God has made them. Also, to teach how our connection to horses can give us insight into improving our relationships with others and Jesus.

Horsemanship Camps

Phantom Ranch offers a fantastic horsemanship camp “Triple W” for middle school and high school girls.

The Triple W Horsemanship Camps are great for both first-time riders, and campers who have been riding their whole lives. The horsemanship skills that are developed depend on the individual camper’s skill level.
