Our five-year vision for Prairie Village is to transform the way Phantom Ranch cares for campers and guests. By expanding our housing and meeting spaces and providing more opportunities for trained adult mentors to serve, we can welcome more young people, better support their individual needs, and help more people draw closer to God.
Buildings: The Longhouse, the Prairie Chapel, Picnic Pavilion, and a Utility/Storage Shed.
Also included is a soccer/game field, outdoor games, and an outdoor cooking area.

Doors to Open
More beds. More campers. More opportunities to hear the Gospel.
Phantom Ranch has the facilities to serve 250 people in our Hill Chapel, dining hall, and activity areas. But with only 180 beds, we cannot fully use that capacity.
Demand for camp continues to grow, and some returning campers have already missed out because sessions filled before they could register. We need additional housing to welcome more young people and give them the opportunity to experience camp.
Phase One of the Prairie Village will add two cabin rooms, each with 12 beds and a bathroom. That means 24 additional campers can attend each week—opening the door for more young people to build friendships, grow in their faith, and hear the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Room to Care
More trained mentors. More individual support. More opportunities for spiritual growth.
Children and teens bring more than luggage to camp. They often arrive carrying worries, hurts, and challenges that can make it difficult to connect with others or fully engage in the camp experience.
At Phantom Ranch, we want every camper to feel safe, supported, and cared for. Our staff receive training in Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI), trauma-informed care, Mental Health First Aid, and strategies for helping homesick campers. These tools help staff respond to campers’ emotional and social needs with greater understanding and compassion.
When campers feel supported and connected, they are better able to participate, build relationships, and engage with the truth of God’s Word.
To provide this level of care, we need more trained adult volunteers who can invest in campers one-on-one. Phase One will include dedicated housing for adult mentors, creating opportunities to welcome additional volunteers who can support campers throughout the summer.
Your donation helps provide more than a place to stay for our volunteers. It helps make room for the relationships that allow campers to feel known, encouraged, and cared for.
Gather To Grow
More space for Bible study, discipleship, and life-changing conversations.
Phantom Ranch is active throughout the year, welcoming church groups, retreat guests, summer campers, and staff. Every group needs space to gather, learn, build relationships, and grow in faith.
Meeting rooms provide places for Bible teaching, staff training, small-group discussions, and discipleship. But our current spaces cannot meet all our needs.
As part of Phase One, we plan to add meeting space where up to 50 additional campers and staff can participate in Bible studies and small-group discipleship. These spaces will help create opportunities for deeper conversations, stronger Christian community, and lasting spiritual growth.
