Travis & Jenny Tetting, Maintenance and Marketing
Travis and Jenny joined our full-time staff in May through a series of perfectly timed events with their previous careers. They trusted God’s sovereignty as these changes were drastic and sudden.
Jenny has 12 years of marketing experience and had been volunteering with the horsemanship program for 5 years. Travis runs his own parkour business with a background of public school education. He is a nationally recognized parkour instructor, teaching classes at the local YMCA, churches, local schools, and out of his own gym. He builds strong relationships with his students to help them grow in confidence and draw closer to God through movement.
In two weeks, Jenny’s full-time marketing job was eliminated and Travis’ gym lease expired without an option for renewal, during which time Phantom Ranch was looking to fill marketing and maintenance positions. It was clear to the Tettings God wanted them to serve Him in a different way. They communicated their long time interest in serving at camp as a family and got to work quickly. They immediately aided in the final sprint to finish the Climbing Center and with the preparation for summer camp season.
The Tettings have been a great fit at Phantom Ranch, and camp ministry is a great fit for them. Travis and Jenny live just down the road in Mukwonago with their three young boys and are looking forward to the full breadth of how God is using them in this exciting season.
