How is Phantom Ranch doing?
A common question, and it’s a good one. Our answers are: financially we are doing well, we had a great summer camp, our retreat season is booked up, the staff are working well as a team and on mission, and so on. The best answer is: Everyone loves Phantom Ranch!
This year, we celebrate and praise God for his blessings to Phantom Ranch. 70 years ago faithful people purchased the camp, faithful people started the camp ministry. For 70 years, generation after generation has faithfully provided great camp ministry each year. However, they slowly but surely built the camp from 12 acres to 110 acres, from 10 buildings to 30 buildings. In the past, Phantom Ranch was small and had few amenities. Nowadays, a camper has a hard time doing everything. No matter which era they came to camp: Everybody loves Phantom Ranch!

Summer staff enjoy a living and working environment where everyone is striving to follow Jesus’ way of life. This has the side effects of engagement, encouragement and enlightenment.
Summer campers love Phantom Ranch!
Campers love their experiences because the staff are well trained. Staff are experienced in biblical discipleship to apply God’s word for maturity. Our program team is trained in Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI), to care for all our campers with difficult life experiences. Summer camp parents love our investment into high-level training. Also, they love the observable differences their child has in following Jesus after a week at Phantom Ranch.
Donors love Phantom Ranch!
Donors know their gifts are wisely. We take every opportunity for the Gospel to be heard and our ministry continued.
How is Phantom Ranch doing? Everyone loves Phantom Ranch because at camp people draw closer to God.
