High School

We call our high school session SUPERTEEN — a week where 9th-12th high school guys and girls can experience the perfect blend of chill and hype, relevant worship music, spiritually motivating Bible teaching, and be supported in their high school years.

9th-12th Grade — High School Co-Ed Camp

Our high school camp, Superteen, blends chill vibes with high-energy excitement, giving campers the freedom to dive into games or slow down to relax and reflect. Every night, high school campers gather around campfires, enjoy free time, play late-night glow-in-the-dark 9 Square in the Air, showcase talents in the annual Variety Show, and compete in our epic capture-the-flag game—CONQUEST!

After a full year of school, sports, clubs, and work, a week at Phantom Ranch helps students reset, recharge, and reorient their lives toward Jesus. Our dedicated staff and Cabin Leaders share their own high school experiences and show campers how to integrate the Bible into everyday life.

If games, downtime, and deep conversations aren’t enough, campers can compete in the camp-wide CarpetBall Tournament for a one-of-a-kind trophy!

Superteen is co-ed, with separate cabins for boys and girls, creating a balanced and meaningful environment. Our staff ensures every camper feels safe, supported, and connected—to each other, to the staff, and to God. Through guided activities, staff actively teach campers how to have fun together while showing respect, fostering civility, and navigating co-ed interactions.

At Superteen high school camp, students build friendships, grow in faith, and create memories that last long after the week ends.

Staff Training

All Phantom Ranch staff are carefully screened before being hired. Phantom Ranch offers training in a variety of essential topics, including our Child Protection Policies, Emergency Action Plans, homesickness strategies, responding calmly to dysregulated campers, and many other practical strategies for meeting camper needs.

Our staff training covers the following and more:

Because of this training, our staff actively help campers learn how to live in a cabin community, practice respect, and contribute to a fun, welcoming environment for everyone.

High School Aged Chapel Details

We provide a morning time for discussion around a teaching theme from the Bible, as well as evening chapel sessions. The evening chapel sessions start with a game followed by a full worship band playing relevant and memorable songs and an interactive keynote speaker who teaches around our summer’s biblical theme. Morning and evening gatherings are designed for high schoolers from all backgrounds to encounter Jesus.

Each chapel session is interactive, engaging, and age-appropriate.
Campers will enjoy:

  • Fun, memorable worship led by a full Worship Band
  • Professional Bible teachers
  • Small group cabin discussions
  • Practical ways to live as lifelong Followers of Jesus
