List of what to bring and what to leave at home
Cabin Items
- cabins are air conditioned, box fans are not needed
- each cabin has a bathroom with sinks, toilets, and showers
- bedding for a twin size bed (pillow, sheets or sleeping bag)
- toiletries (shower supplies, toothbrush and toothpaste)
- towel for showering (different than beach towel)
- one stuffed animal (must stay in cabin during stay)
- book to read before bed (not necessary, but encouraged)
Clothing Items
- enough clothes for six days
- a few cold weather items for chilly evenings
- rain gear / jacket
- shoes or fully strapped sandals for running and play
- flip-flops, slides, Crocs are acceptable during leisure time
- hat, sunglasses and other sun reduction items are recommended
Beach Items
- sandals for going to-and-from the beach
- swimwear for males and females must be fully-lined and be active swimwear allowing for playing, speedboat tube rides, and active games without needing adjustment
- towel for the beach (different than shower towel)
- sunscreen
Camp Items
- provide a water bottle (not glass) and a day pack or other method (straps or carry cord) for your camper to carry the water bottle.
- Bible, journal or notebook (pencils and Bibles can be provided by camp)
- stationary/stamps (if interested in mailing letters home)
- flashlight (recommended)
- bug spray (optional)
- digital or disposable camera (optional)
- fishing supplies (optional)
Leave at Home
- phones (some health exceptions allowed by Health and Safety Director)
- digital devices / screens, video game console
- smart watch (some health exceptions allowed by Program Director)
- music playing device
- box fans (all cabins have A/C)
- paintballs, paintball markers (personal goggles are allowed and inspected by Paintball Staff)
- weapons of any kind (multitools used for fishing are allowed and kept safe by appropriate camp staff)
- special or sentimental items for which you would be sad if lost or damaged
Letters & Gifts for Your Camper
- Mail for your camper may be left with camp staff during check-in and delivered on the day you request.
- Mail for you camper can also be mailed to the office and will be delivered when received or when requested.
- Letters to your camper should avoid telling them what they are missing out on at home. Instead, tell them how excited you are to hear about their time at camp. You could include a prayer or a Bible verse. Please avoid phrasing or stories that could cause your campers to want to leave camp early.
- Care Packages could include items such as snacks (to share?), fun play items, glow sticks (camp gives out glow sticks during the week), and an encouraging note.
- Camper mail is only deliverable Monday – Thursday.
- Please use the mailing address below and include your campers name.
